Outdoor furniture by Slettvoll
I am so thrilled to share the big news that we bought our first apartment in Stockholm! The flat is really gorgeous and modern, built in 2016 with a living area of 46,7 sqm plus 12 sqm balcony with stunning view over the seaside. We feel very lucky to live closer to nature, yet only 15 mins by boat from the city center. For the first time, we can also design our outdoor space and we are so excited that we started already to look around. All the brands I love the most have published their outdoor collections and they are marvelous. I decided to summarize some of their furniture in this blog post as an inspiration for your garden or terrace with Nordic Style furniture brands. If you are keen to discover instead exclusive Italian outdoor furniture brands, you can find out more in one previous blog here.

Lounge sofa, armchairs and coffee table by Slettvoll
One of my favourite brand in Nordic Style is the Norwegian Slettvoll. Their style is so elegant and contemporary with very high quality craftsmanship. As a buyer, I rather spend a bit more of money but have something unique and that will last longer in time. I like also to know how and where they are made and if I can help a smaller craftsmen that does this by hand, I am even happier! Slettvoll for me ticks all these boxes, some of their furniture are made in Italy too.

Outdoor lights by Slettvoll
One of my dream is actually the swing sofa in the garden under a tree. I will try to see if I can fit something like that in the balcony in our new flat. It would be so dreamy! In the evening I know I would want to light up some warmer lights and these ones from Slettvoll can be places wherever you like. They are made in teak wood and glass and they look so stunning.

Lounge furniture by Artwood
Another company I like is Artwood from Sweden, which I discovered very recently at Stockholm Furniture Fair. Their style is slightly more classic but still with very high quality. They offer different collections in teak wood, rattan or solid concrete.

Dining furniture by Artwood
I think teak mixed with rattan is timeless and so stylish! Framed by beautiful external lanterns, exotic plants and a rattan rug, your dining area will look so stunning. I am actually thinking to get this table myself.

Lounge furniture by Sika-Design
Another absolutely great company which I love is the Danish Sika-Design. Their collections are all timeless, sleek and absolutely authentic. I could sit on that hanging chair forever!

Indoor rattan furniture by Sika-Design
If you are a fan of rattan furniture like me, they do incredible pieces for interiors as well from headboards, sofa, nest chairs, lounge chair and designers such as Arne Jacobsen, you must absolutely check them out. I will surely try to incorporate that rattan pouf and the basket for blankets into our indoor living room.

Great post, and good inspiration ahead of summer. I believe many will be spending it at home now with travel being out of the picture, so good to have inspiration to fix up ones own garden and terrace.
I absolutely adore the set from Slettvoll with its thin and light wooden frame contrasting the dark chairs. So elegant and with a luxurious feel. Do they have a showroom in Stockholm?
