Inspiration from Stockholm Light & Furniture Fair 2019

​As every year in February, Stockholm opened its Design Week showing the latest trends from the capital of Scandinavia. Ambrosi Interiors & Styling went to explore the Stockholm Light & Furniture Fair 2019 looking for inspiration to share with you that I will present following below.

​We were positively impressed by the quality of the craftsmanship presented among the exhibitors. We loved the wooden Scandinavian style furnitures, which I personally like very much. This hand made cabinet with the coordinated mirror, captivated our attention. A very refine work with different wooden shades and shapes.

We also liked the more traditional Scandinavian design chairs and dining tables. The quality of this hand made furnitures was so high, that we would use them in any project.

We were also very impressed by some modern Scandinavian furnitures, that I could definitely use in commercial projects as well, restaurants, cafe' but also offices.

​One of our favorites exhibitor was Wiener GTV Design ,with their retro style furniture and lights made with Vienna straw, a trend we saw as well in other manufactures.
​Personally, I was very impressed by what Magis put on too. This company has always represented a piece of Italian design history for me and I truly love all their iconic pieces.

We also found some exciting trendy lights, which we would be delighted to use in our projects. 

Last but not least, we were very pleased to see the originality and creativity of this mirror, Mirror by Front for Swedese, winner of the fair's Born Classic award made with oak and curves. ​

​We had a blast and felt very inspired to use all these beautiful furnitures, lights and decorative objects in our future projects, and we hope you feel inspired too.
